DESCRIPTION - Link Broad Avenue is located in the historic Broad Avenue Arts District of the Binghampton community, just east of Overton Park. Grubb has built the Link apartment brand on innovation, sustainability, and connection. DT’s design of the outdoor spaces at Link Broad Avenue utilizes these founding values and draws from the diverse, eclectic, and vibrant Broad Avenue culture. This multifamily development will bring much-needed residential infill into the heart of the District to support the small business community and the growing Memphis biking culture utilizing the Hampline. The project, currently under construction, meets National Green Building Standard certification requirements, which include best practices for sustainable landscaping and irrigation. Other members of the design team include BB+M Architecture, Shapiro & Co. Architects, and Pickering Firm.

The exterior features include:

• Pool courtyard with outdoor kitchen

• Artful plaza featuring the existing Broad Avenue Water Tower neighborhood icon

• Linear park with outdoor games, seating, and dog park

• Resident courtyard with fire pit, seating, hammocks, and co-working tables

• Streetscape improvements on Broad Avenue and Bingham Street

• Lush landscape using native and adapted plants

• Xeriscape gardens utilizing no irrigation
