CLIENT - City of Germantown, Tennessee

DESCRIPTION - The Germantown Community Library is a well-loved asset to the local community. Adjacent to the library is a garden space maintained by the Suburban Women’s Garden Club., which includes planting beds, a winding pathway, a fountain, and seating area. Seeking to make the space easier to access, the City of Germantown enlisted DT Design to design a new ADA walk system that carried visitors throughout the garden, as well as creating access from Exeter Road and the Library. The design team also utilized an existing drainage swale to enlarge the garden space by creating a rain garden focused on native plants and wildflowers.
