DESCRIPTION - Located in the Old Germantown District of Germantown, Tennessee, these brownstone offices are meant to emulate the famous brownstone townhomes of New York City and Boston.  The landscape design for the project sought to maintain the strong architectural presence of the structure itself, while softening hard lines at the pedestrian level.  Several large existing trees were preserved on the site to give the project an established feel.  Low shrubs and ground cover were used in the front of the structure to enhance the visual cues of the architecture.  The streetscape utilized low-lying ground cover and columnar english oaks to bring the strong upright elements of the architecture to the pedestrian space.
